Peter Deunov studied music and the violin in 1880s. During the first decade of the 20th century Master Beinsa Douno started composing music to Biblical texts and to texts written by him, called brotherly songs, later on, and from 1922 he started producing songs and melodies in the two esoteric classes of his School, which he called esoteric musical exercises. According to him, they were methods for esoteric work and were meant to tone up and harmonize the psychic processes going on in esoteric disciples. Some of the texts to the musical exercises were written in sacred proto-language, which Master Beinsa Douno called Vatan language and he defined it as the primary language of humankind.
